Sarah Marriott
Partner and COO
Sarah Marriott has been with EcoR1 Capital, LLC since 2014, and is the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. She is responsible for operations, legal, and compliance issues. Before coming to EcoR1, Ms. Marriott served as a Deputy District Attorney in Solano County, California, and practiced law at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in San Francisco. Ms. Marriott also clerked on the federal Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Ms. Marriott holds a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College.
Odi Marriott
Schutzhund
Odysseus (Odi), CGC, the 357 Tehama Biggest Lap Dog, joined the team in September 2021. He has some big paws to fill, growing into the role formerly held by EcoR1’s legendary Chief Boxer Dog Hector. Odi is responsible for jumping up, licking faces, and getting into trouble. He holds several diplomas from the Napa Valley Dog Training Club.
